Flagging process

After sign up closes, we will share a list of possible participants with all that have signed up for a flagging process. During the flagging process you will be asked to share with us, if you wish to flag any other possible participants. You will be able to red flag, yellow flag or green flag other participants.

  • A red flag means you do not feel comfortable playing the larp, if the flagged person participates.
  • A yellow flag means you do not feel comfortable playing a written relation to the flagged person’s character.
  • A green flag means you would like to play a character with a relation to the flagged person’s character.

The flagging process will run from December 17th to December 24th. We might contact you with in-depth questions regarding your possible flagging of others.

Casting

The casting will be a combination of lottery and casting. If you do not receive a spot at The Circle, we will be happy to keep you on our waiting list in case of participant dropouts between the casting and the larp itself.

If you receive a spot for the larp, you will receive an email with information about how to pay and prepare for the larp.

We expect to be able to have finished casting on December 30th, 2023.

Cancellation and waiting list policy

The ticket fee is non-refundable. Tickets can only be sold to another participant with approval from the organizers, so we can make sure that possible replacement participants have been through our casting and flagging process.

If you have to cancel your participation after the 1st of June 2024  you will not be allowed to resell your ticket. Instead we will offer your spot to people on our waiting list for a reduced price to ensure that the larp will have our desired number of participants.

You will be able to sign up only to the waiting list – if you are unsure if you’re able to participate, but hope to be able to, we suggest you use this option, so you are first in line, whenever a spot (which it probably will) opens up at a later time.

If we have to open the waiting list for new participants at a later time, we will conduct another round of flagging.

If we don’t have the time for another round of flagging – for instance in case of last-minute dropouts – we will rather rewrite and adapt relations between characters than include new players that haven’t been through a flagging process with reasonable deadlines.
